Election Stolen

***Let us all recall how the Democrats continue to whine and bitch and moan about the 2000 election and that President Bush stole the election and that his presidency has been illegitimate.  Now, those same whiners are saying that Senator Norm Coleman should just accept the decision in MN and move on down the road.  Fine.  Move along, Norm.  The GOP should just not recognize Franken as a legitimate senator; his election was illegal; everything he does for the next 6 years should not be part of the record.  Afterall, the libs would like that done to the Bush Presidency.

***The SJR today opines that one solution to the corruption is to limit campaign contributions, just like the Feds did years ago.  Oh, what a great idea!  That worked spectacularly, didn't it?  The only things that campaign limitations do are 1-PROTECT INCUMBENTS and 2-PRICE OUT REGULAR PEOPLE FROM RUNNING FOR OFFICE.

Obviously, the lib media is OK with only incumbents & elites from walking in the circles of power & prestige.  God forbid a regular guy or gal scratch together enough money from friends and family to actually run for office.

The problem is the system ISN'T OPEN ENOUGH.  We need more money in the system but we need it reported w/in 24 hours of collection & we need real teeth in the FEC and the State Board of Elections.

But, its just easier to say 'limit the money' and that will mean ethics reform.  Pshaw!

***Does ANYONE really feel sorry for Oprah?

***Wait.  Wasn't the thinking that economic stimulus only occurs with more government spending and NOT tax cuts, especially tax cuts for businesses?  Oh, yeah, that was before it was proposed by The Obama:  And to get GOP support, Obama has decided to include as much as $100 billion in new tax breaks for businesses — a proposal that's not at the top of the list of stimulus measures for most Democrats.

Krauthammer on Israel-Gaza:  Nor does Hamas conceal its strategy. Provoke conflict. Wait for the inevitable civilian casualties. Bring down world opprobrium on Israel. Force it into an untenable cease-fire—exactly as happened in Lebanon. Then, as in Lebanon, rearm, rebuild and mobilize for the next round. Perpetual war. Since its raison d'etre is the eradication of Israel, there are only two possible outcomes: the defeat of Hamas or the extinction of Israel.
