***21-0.  Even the Bears beating the Pack by such a score would not be so sweet!

***Crazy Rod, of course, responded by saying that he had been denied due process.  He continues to attempt to muddy the waters and confuse voters that this was a court proceeding and NOT an impeachment effort.  Here is Crazy Rod's public comment:

“Today’s vote was not a surprise. The outcome was a foregone conclusion especially when you consider the committee released its report hours before wrapping up testimony. The Governor believes that the impeachment proceedings were flawed, biased and did not follow the rules of law. His team was not allowed to subpoena witnesses, they were never allowed to cross examine people and never given the chance to put on any kind of defense. In all, the Governor’s rights to due process were deprived. When the case moves to the Senate, an actual judge will preside over the hearings, and the Governor believes the outcome will be much different.”

***How anyone on the City Council could TRUST the Mayor OR Davlin is beyond The Kelm & Kirk Show.  This administration has shown utter contempt for the City Council and voters of Springfield.  Today the SJ-R hits it on the head:

Davlin and Renfrow have repeatedly botched issues this way. Aldermen believe the mayor was not upfront about the potential costs involved in moving and restoring the Maisenbacher House. And the agreement with the Sierra Club to reduce CWLP’s emissions and buy wind power — a deal essential to getting the permit to build the power plant — also was done in secret and sprung at the last minute with the expectation of an aldermanic rubber stamp.

When will they learn?

Unfortunately, the R & D don't have to learn.  They have Council members who are naive and they have voters who confuse personal likability with quality management and civic leadership!

***The Obama won't discuss Israel/Gaza because there is 'only one President at a time'.  BUT, when it comes to the digital TV conversion, The Obama DEMANDS ACTION!
