***Mayor Davlin & five members of the City Council should elect one of their own to go out and put up 'CLOSED' signs at every entrance to Springfield after last night's pathetic anti-business, elitist, classist, racist move to 're-zone' a legal business enterprise. Davlin, Cimarossa, Mahoney, Cahnman, Lesko & Simpson voted last night to change zoning because a group of people didn't like a class of businesses.
Got that? MacArthur Blvd Business Association doesn't like pay-day loan businesses and spent about the last year attempting to get last night's vote. How many businesses have gone out of business in that time period?
This is what the Association says right off the bat on their website: The MacArthur Boulevard Business Association was formed to support the business welfare of all MacArthur area businesses and to improve the MacArthur corridor so that it will not only survive, but thrive in the decades to come.
So, when they say 'all MacArthur area businesses' they don't really mean ALL.
