***Why is it that Ted Rall and the rabid left that keeps calling for indictment, arrest, trial and punishment of President Bush and other members of his administration can never seem to bring themselves to actually mentioning a specific law that was broken? Or, that IF the Bush Administration should be held accountable for warrantless wiretaps, for instance, what about the indictment of the Members of Congress that voted for the Patriot Act? Of, that IF Colin Powell 'lied' to the UN with intelligence from Clinton's CIA director, what about President Clinton and VP Gore who both said WMD existed in Iraq? What about Sec. of State Hillary Clinton who said WMD existed in Iraq?
***Two things about the Britt cartoon today: 1 - the 'closed' sign should have an asterick because the Obama EO left wiggle room for the President to bring back such techniques if the situation warranted; and 2 - was anyone else struck by the cartoon of waterboarding and the parallel editorial about the importance of CPR? ***And, this: "This is politics," he said on the "Don Wade and Roma" show on WLS-AM 890. "This is about raising taxes. Pat Quinn has cut a deal with Democratic leaders....It's all about getting rid of me to raise taxes on people." Both income and sales taxes would be increased by May, he said.
