We told you something was hinkey with Roland Burris

Burris:  "No, I never had any contact with Blagojevich's campaign organization."
Illinois House:  "Liar."

Call for a criminal investigation of U-S Senator Roland Burris are coming out of the Illinois Statehouse.  State Representative Jim Durkin is calling for a probe of the newly-appoint senator after an affadavit was released late last week from Burris that shows he did, in fact, speak with Robert Blagojevich--the former governor's brother--about campaign money.  Burris' affadavit is at odds with his testimony before the Illinois House during impeachment hearings last month.  At that time, Burris says he never spoke with Blagojevich's campaign organization prior to his appointment to the U-S Senate.  Illinois House Republicans say they want Burris investigated for perjury.
